We have been learning to choose our opinion and write our reasons. This week our book was The Pigeon HAS to go to School. We chose our opinion and wrote about our reasons. We then created a poster to show our opinion.

On Tuesday Hayleigh from St Johns came to teach us about how to help in an emergency. Here is my create task to show what I learnt. 

I assessed my own skills in swimming.

Last week our shared book was Kupe and Te Wheke .We created our own Waka  Hourua  using recycled materials.

This week we have been working on some mahi for Te Wiki o te Reo Māori. Our theme was kai. If we finished we could do Nga Tae – colours. Here is my mahi.

This week my parents came to visit with Mrs Clarke and I shared my learning with them. Here are the goals I have set for the rest of the year. I shared these with my parents.

Our Matariki star focus this week was Tupuanuku. We wrote instructions for growing a bean plant in a jar.
